The Speed Bag units feature 360-degree rotating grips that mimic the motion of an upper-body ergometer, only with greater capacity for adaptability and exercise customization, at a fraction of the cost. Further, many physical therapists and physical therapy patients have commented that the hand positioning on the Speed Bag is ergonomically superior to the UBE. These units are available in four-, eight- and twelve-pound models.
The Cross Trainer is designed to challenge and develop muscles by functioning in a fashion similar to that of a standard barbell, only with 360-degree rotating grips and an asymmetrical counterweight. The 360-degree rotating grips allow for easy workout customization since hand positioning can be adjusted on the fly, thereby allowing the user to challenge the muscles from whatever hand position is appropriate at the time. In addition, the asymmetrical counterweight can be positioned to ensure greater core-muscle engagement by triggering the body’s tendency to compensate for increased loads on one side by utilizing core muscle fibers on the other.
The Universal takes the Cross Trainer one step further for the benefit of users who require 22 lbs or more of free weight to challenge the desired muscle groups. Similar in structure and use to the Cross Trainer with the same 360-degree rotating grips and asymmetrical counterweight, the Universal features steel protrusions on each side that allow for additional weight (up to 200 lbs) to be added. Therefore, users of the Universal with enough barbell plates at their disposal can perform any exercise that would ordinarily be performed with a standard barbell, only with greater convenience to the body and limitless options for chaining exercises together.
